MEDICARE SUPPLEMENTS

Fill the Gaps in Your Medicare Coverage

Original Medicare (Part A & Part B) covers many essential healthcare services, but it doesn’t cover everything. That’s where Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) comes in—helping you reduce out-of-pocket costs like deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance.

If you're looking for predictable healthcare costs, flexibility, and peace of mind, a Medigap plan might be the perfect solution.

What Is Medicare Supplement Insurance?

Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans are private insurance policies designed to work alongside Original Medicare. They help cover expenses that Medicare doesn’t fully pay, such as:

✔️ Medicare Part A Deductibles & Coinsurance

✔️ Medicare Part B Copayments & Excess Charges

✔️ Skilled Nursing Facility Coinsurance

✔️ Emergency Medical Care During Foreign Travel

Medigap policies are standardized by Medicare and are identified by lettered plans (A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L, M, N). Each plan offers a different level of coverage.

Who Is Eligible for a Medicare Supplement Plan?

🔹 You must be enrolled in Medicare Part A & Part B

🔹 You cannot have a Medicare Advantage Plan and a Medigap policy at the same time

🔹 The best time to enroll is during your Medigap Open Enrollment Period (OEP)—a 6-month window that begins the month you turn 65 and enroll in Part B

📌 Important: If you enroll after your Open Enrollment Period, you may be required to go through medical underwriting, which could affect your approval and pricing.

Plan Highlights:

👉 Plan F offers the most comprehensive coverage but is only available to those eligible before January 1, 2020.
👉 Plan G is the most popular option for new enrollees, covering everything except the Part B deductible.
👉 Plan N offers lower premiums in exchange for small copays.

If you travel often, prefer low out-of-pocket costs, and want the freedom to see any doctor, a Medicare Supplement Plan may be your best choice.
